Saint Alban Church provides an alternate church home to those who have felt "disenfranchised" and alienated from a Christianity that has changed so much during the past several decades. While we respect the traditions and beliefs of other Christian bodies, we do not think that many are preaching and teaching the truth of the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
We wish to live in harmony with all Christian bodies. As Anglo-Catholic Christians, we accept many of the teachings and traditions of the majority of Christians in the world today, including Roman Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy, and those Anglican bodies who have maintained the "continuum" of truth. We reject, however, modernist novelties such as the ordination of women to the priesthood . We most fervently reject those errors, such as abortion, that imperil the very heart of human existence.
We believe that to live in harmony with those Christians whose beliefs are different means that we can still consider each other as brethren under the banner of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We do not "hate" or dislike anyone, and consider that there are ecumenical ventures through which we can share ministry while at the same time disagreeing.
